Bethan Dyke
Bethan Dyke (born 25 December 1994) is a Welsh netball player who plays for Wales in the position of center and wing attack. Career Dyke has played for Wales representative clubs Cardiff Dragons and Severn Stars in Netball Superleague. She was a key member of the Celtic Dragons which emerged as runners-up to Team Bath in the 2013 Netball Superleague Grand Final. She made her Commonwealth Games debut representing Wales at the Commonwealth Games in 2014, where Wales finished at eighth position in the women's netball tournament. She was included in the Wales squad for the 2015 Netball World Cup, which eventually marked her debut appearance in a World Cup tournament. She was named in the Wales squad to face off against New Zealand in a home test series in 2017 and it also marked New Zealand's first visit to Wales to play an international series after a gap of 20 years. Netball is a ball sport played on a court by two teams of seven players. It is among a rare number of sports which have been created exclusively for female competitors. Netball At The 2022 Commonwealth Games
Netball is one of the sports contested at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham, England. This will be the seventh staging of netball at the Commonwealth Games since its inclusion in 1998, and the second staging within England specifically. The tournament is scheduled to take place between 29 July and 7 August 2022. 2023 Netball Superleague Season
The 2023 Netball Superleague season was the eighteenth season of the Netball Superleague, the elite domestic netball competition in the United Kingdom. Manchester Thunder were the defending champions, as they won the 2022 Grand final. The season began on 11 February and ended with the Grand Final on 11 June. It featured 10 teams following the removal of Wasps in November 2022. Loughborough Lightning won the competition, beating London Pulse in the final to claim their second Superleague title. Overview Format Originally, the 2023 season was scheduled to have 11 teams. However, in November 2022, Wasps were removed from the league after their holding company went into administration, leaving the competition with 10 teams. Team Bath (netball)
Team Bath is an English netball team based at the University of Bath. Their senior team plays in the Netball Superleague. In 2005–06 they were both founder members and the inaugural champions of the league. They were Superleague champions again in 2006–07, 2008–09, 2009–10 and 2013, and British Fast5 All-Stars Champions in 2021. The netball team is one of several sports teams based at the University of Bath that use the Team Bath brand name. Others include an association football team and a field hockey team.
