Betar US
Betar US () also known as Betar USA () is the United States sector of the paramilitary Revisionist Zionist Betar, Betar Movement. The group which self-describes itself as "Vandalism, vandals", has faced controversy over its support for Zionist terrorism and Kahanism, a movement that calls for segregation of non-Jews. Betar US has been blacklisted by the Anti-Defamation League for its embrace of "Islamophobia [and] harras[ing] Muslims." History Betar was established in 1923 by Ze'ev Jabotinsky and the United States sector was established in 1929. It was described as a "Jewish Fascist" organization and Far-right politics, far-right, and had supposed ties to fascist Italy during the time of its rise and establishment. Ze'ev Jabotinsky
Ze'ev Jabotinsky ( he, זְאֵב זַ׳בּוֹטִינְסְקִי, ''Ze'ev Zhabotinski'';, ''Wolf Zhabotinski'' 17 October 1880 – 3 August 1940), born Vladimir Yevgenyevich Zhabotinsky, was a Russian Jewish Revisionist Zionist leader, author, poet, orator, soldier, and founder of the Jewish Self-Defense Organization in Odessa.
