Geethapriya
Lakshman Rao Mohite (15 June 1932 – 17 January 2016), better known by his pen-name Geethapriya, was an Indian film director and lyricist of the Kannada film industry. He has directed 40 films and penned over 250 songs in Kannada films. In 1992–93, he was awarded the Puttanna Kanagal Award for his contribution to Kannada cinema as a director. Early life Geethapriya was born as Lakshman Rao Mohite in 1931, to Ramarao Mohite and Lakshmibai. His father worked for the cavalry regiment of Mysore State Troops called Mysore Lancers, which was stationed in Bangalore. Even though his mother tongue was Marathi, he was always interested in the Kannada language and was admitted to a Kannada-medium school. The poet P. T. Manjula (Kannada Actress)
Honnenhalli Shivanna Manjula (8 November 1954 – 12 September 1986) was an Indian actress who acted in predominantly Kannada language films in addition to Tamil (credited as ''Kumari Manjula'') and Telugu films (credited as ''Kannada Manjula''). She was one of the most successful and prominent actresses of Kannada films in the 1970s and 1980s. She acted in more than 100 films and won several awards for her performances, including a Filmfare Award. Personal life Manjula was born to M. H. Shivanna and Deveramma in Honnenahalli, a village in Tumkur District. Her father Shivanna was a police sub inspector. She was married to film director Amrutham who worked with her in films such as ''Hudugaatada Hudugi'' and ''Kanasu Nanasu''. The couple had a son, Abhishek. Vijaya Bhaskar
Vijaya Bhaskar (; 1924 – 3 March 2002) was an Indian music director and composer who composed music for several mainstream and experimental feature films in the Kannada film industry. Scoring music for over 720 films, Bhaskar worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Tulu and Konkani language films as well. He had a noted association with directors including KSL Swamy (Ravi), Puttanna Kanagal, Adoor Gopalakrishnan and a long association with singers including P. Susheela and Vani Jairam. S. Shivaram (28 January 1938 – 4 December 2021), popularly known simply as Shivaram or Shivaramanna, was an Indian actor, producer and director whose Kannada cinema career has spanned six decades. He has played roles including lead hero performances, character roles, comedic roles, as well as supporting parts. He teamed up with his elder brother, S. Ramanathan and produced several films under the name Rashi Brothers apart from directing '' Hrudaya Sangama'' in 1972. Vijaya Naarasimha (16 January 1927 – 31 October 2001) was an Indian lyricist who worked in Kannada cinema. Career Naarasimha's first Kannada film song was "Yee Dehadinda Dooranaade" (Oh soul, why did you depart this body) for the 1956 film '' Ohileshwara''. He worked with filmmaker Puttanna Kanagal and music director Vijaya Bhaskar.
