Danielson is an American rock band from Clarksboro, New Jersey, Clarksboro, New Jersey, that plays indie pop gospel music. The group consists of frontman Daniel Smith and a number of various artists with whom he collaborates. Smith has also released solo work as Brother Danielson. When joined by his family the band is known as Danielson Famile or Danielson Family, whose members have included Smith; his "siblings Andrew, David, Megan, and Rachel; wife Elin; friends Christiaan & Melissa Palladino; [and] daughters Lilly and Ida". Cryptacize
Cryptacize is a California pop band founded by Nedelle Torrisi and Chris Cohen in 2006. They released two records on the Asthmatic Kitty label. After seeing percussionist Michael Carreira's solo cowbell videos on YouTube, Cohen and Torrisi asked him to join the band and they recorded their debut album Dig That Treasure (which was named after a musical written by Cohen's father in 1958). Cryptacize generated some controversy in 2008 with their cover of Steely Dan's ''Peg'' when some readers posted angry comments on Stereogum. Chris Cohen is an American singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist best known for his solo albums as well as for having been a member of the band Deerhoof between 2002 and 2006. Early life and education Born in Los Angeles, California in 1975, he is the son of former music business executive Kip Cohen and former Broadway actress Lynn Cohen (known professionally as Lynn Carlisle). In 1991, Cohen appeared in the Sonic Youth video "Cinderella's Big Score" by Dave Markey. His sister is public radio reporter and host Alex Cohen. His first instrument was drums, which he began playing at the age of 3, later learning to make music by overdubbing himself on a cassette four-track. U.S. Maple was an American noise rock band. The group formed in Chicago in 1995. The band consists of Al Johnson (lead singer), Mark Shippy (guitarist), Pat Samson (drummer), and Todd Rittmann (guitarist). History Formation and first single U.S. Maple was formed in 1995 at DeKalb's Northern Illinois University by former members of Shorty and the Mercury Players. Soul-Junk is an experimental genre-hopping Christian rock and hip hop group from San Diego, California. Background The roots of Soul-Junk began in 1993 when Glen Galloway began experimenting while touring in Europe with his rock band Trumans Water.
