Ganna Volodymyrivna Bessonova ( uk, Ганна Володимирівна Безсонова/Ganna Volodymyrivna Bessonova; born 29 July 1984) is a Ukrainian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She is one of the most decorated rhythmic gymnast of her generation. Pyotr Alexeyevich Bessonov or (in the pre-1917 spelling) Bezsonov (Пётр Алексе́евич Бессо́нов; 1828–1898) was a leading Russian folklorist who collected and published many East Slavic and South Slavic folk songs. The son of a priest, Bessonov was born in Moscow. He graduated at Moscow University in 1851. After five years of graduate work in ancient and modern languages, he earned the government printing commission. From 1864 to 1867 he was supervisor of the Vilna Museum and Public Library, besides serving as director of education in the same city. For the two following years he was librarian at Moscow University. Having received an honorary doctor's diploma in Slavonic philology from Kazan University, he became professor of Slavic languages at the University of Kharkov in 1879, remaining in the position till his death. Volodymyr Vasylyovych Bezsonov ( uk, Володимир Васильович Безсонов, also spelled Vladimir Vasilijević Bessonov, born 5 March 1958) is a Ukrainian football manager and former player, he played for the Soviet Union national football team. The most recent team he was managing was Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk in the Ukrainian Premier League. Club career Bezsonov's career began in 1976 with Dynamo Kyiv. Here he spent most of his career, except for a short one-season stint in Israeli club Maccabi Haifa F.C. in 1990–91. He was well known as a lightning quick full-back with a powerful shot. Vsevolod Bessonov
Vsevolod Borisovich Bessonov (russian: Все́волод Бори́сович Бессо́нов) (19321970) was an officer in the Soviet Navy and commanding officer of the ''K-8''– the Project 627 Kit-class submarine. He was honored with the Hero of the Soviet Union. He died during the sinking of ''K-8''. Biography Bessonov joined the Soviet Navy in 1951. He was a torpedo specialist in the submarine arm of the Soviet Northern Fleet and was awarded the order of the Red Banner for taking part in tests on the nuclear-armed torpedo near Novaya Zemlya. Sergei Bessonov
Sergei Alexeyevich Bessonov (6 August 1892 – 11 September 1941) was a Soviet state, public and party activist and diplomat. He was one of the defendants in the Case of the Anti-Soviet "Bloc of Rightists and Trotskyites" of 2–13 March 1938. He was one of only three defendants who did not receive the death penalty. Sentenced to 15 years in prison, he was extrajudicially executed by the NKVD during Operation Barbarossa of the Eastern Front of World War II alongside Olga Kameneva, Christian Rakovsky, and Maria Spiridonova in Oryol Oblast.
