Thorwald Bergquist (1 December 1899 – 3 December 1972) was a Swedish politician who held various cabinet and political posts. He was a member of the People's Party. Johan Östling argues that Bergquist was one of the Swedish ''generation of 1945'' figures who had a rationalist approach towards cultural affairs and who experienced the World War I period. Biography Bergquist was born Nävelsjö, Jönköping County, on 1 December 1899. He held a degree in law. After working at courts in 1931 Bergquist became the secretary of the second team committee at the Riksdag. Per-Ragnar Bergkvist (born 11 April 1976) is a Swedish former professional ice hockey player who played in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL). Bergkvist was drafted in the fifth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers, but he never played professionally in North America. Justin Burquist is an American filmmaker and music video director who directed the films ''Broken Knuckles'' (2013), ''Touch'' (2022), and was the cinematographer for the films '' Hemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea'' (2023) and ''Pulp Friction'' (2021). Matt Berquist (born 11 May 1983 in Waipukurau, New Zealand) is a rugby union player who plays at fly-half for Benetton Rugby Treviso in the Rabodirect Pro12. Playing career Provincial Rugby Berquist attended the University of Otago and represented Otago in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, he transferred to Hawke's Bay where he would blossom as a player, helping the Magpies turnaround from perennial struggles to Air New Zealand Cup semi-finalists in 2008 and 2009. Marcus Berquist (1934 â€“ November 2, 2010) was one of the founders of Thomas Aquinas College, a professor, and an expert on the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas. He received his bachelor's degree in philosophy from the College of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn. and his licentiate degree in philosophy from Université Laval in Quebec. Joy Theodore John Berquist (July 30, 1901 – May 18, 1942), sometimes known as "Teddie" Berquist, and known professionally as J. T. Berquist, was an American football player, lawyer, and judge.
