Bernhard Quandt
Bernhard Quandt (14 April 1903, in Rostock – 6 August 1999, in Schwerin) was a German politician (SPD, KPD, SED). He was Minister-President of Mecklenburg ( GDR in 1951/52 and the First Secretary of the SED in Schwerin until 1952. He was a member of the SPD from 1920 to 1923 and after that of the KPD. Later he was a member of the Staatsrat of the GDR and the Central Committee of the SED sed ("stream editor") is a Unix utility that parses and transforms text, using a simple, compact programming language. Sachsenhausen () or Sachsenhausen-Oranienburg was a German Nazi concentration camp in Oranienburg, Germany, used from 1936 until April 1945, shortly before the defeat of Nazi Germany in May later that year. It mainly held political prisoners throughout World War II. Prominent prisoners included Joseph Stalin's oldest son, Yakov Dzhugashvili; assassin Herschel Grynszpan; Paul Reynaud, the penultimate Prime Minister of France; Francisco Largo Caballero, Prime Minister of the Second Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War; the wife and children of the Crown Prince of Bavaria; Ukrainian nationalist leader Stepan Bandera; and several enemy soldiers and political dissidents.
