Bernd Roith
Bernd Roith (born 30 December 1959) is a German darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. Career Roith is a chef by profession. He qualified for the 2010 European Championship via the PDC European Order of Merit. In the first round, he defeated Denis Ovens 6–4. In the second round, he gave Raymond van Barneveld a massive scare before eventually losing 10–7. Roith also qualified for the 2011 PDC World Darts Championship through the European order of merit, though he lost in the first round 3–0 to Dennis Priestley. Roith earned a two-year PDC tour card in January 2012 on the fourth and final day of the Qualifying School with a 6–5 win over Les Wallace in his final match. Tomas Seyler
Tomas Seyler (born 16 July 1974), nicknamed "Shorty", is a German former professional darts player. Career Seyler reached the second round of the Winmau World Masters in 2003, beating Vincent van der Voort in the first round, but lost to Raymond van Barneveld. He also reached the Quarter-Finals of the World Darts Trophy in 2004, beating Bob Taylor and Tony West before losing to Martin Adams. He won the German Gold Cup in 2005. Seyler made his PDC debut at the 2006 PDC World Darts Championship, he beat crowd favourite Jamie Harvey of Scotland in the first round but lost to the Netherlands' Roland Scholten in round two. He returned to Purfleet for the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship but the German number one lost in the first round to World number one Colin Lloyd. 2014 PDC European Tour Event 4
The 2014 Austrian Darts Open was the fourth of eight PDC European Tour events on the 2014 PDC Pro Tour. The tournament took place at the Salzburgarena in Salzburg, Austria, between 20–22 June 2014. It featured a field of 48 players and £100,000 in prize money, with £20,000 going to the winner. Vincent van der Voort won his first European Tour title by defeating Jamie Caven 6–5 in the final. Ian White (darts Player)
Ian White (born 17 August 1970), nicknamed Diamond, is an English professional darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. White is the winner of 13 PDC ranking events, and has reached many quarter-finals in majors. In 2019, he reached his first major semi final. Career In 1997, White reached the final of the PDC's revived News of the World Darts Championship. He defeated Des Byrne, Gary Spedding, Peter Manley and Andy Jenkins on the way to the final, where he was defeated by Phil Taylor. Ted Hankey
Edward Hankey (born 20 February 1968) is an English former professional darts player and convicted sex offender. Nicknamed "The Count", he won the BDO World Darts Championship in 2000, was runner-up in 2001, and won the title for a second time in 2009. He moved to the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) tour in 2012, but suffered a stroke while playing Michael van Gerwen at the 2012 Grand Slam of Darts, and took three months away from the sport to recuperate. He lost his PDC tour card in 2014, when he was 94th in the world rankings, and returned to the BDO, where he failed to impress in the latter years of his playing career. In 2016, he made his last appearance in the BDO World Darts Championship, exiting after a 0–3 first-round defeat. Hankey struggled financially in his later career and was declared bankrupt in 2018. Mensur Suljović
Mensur Suljović (Serbian Cyrillic: Менсур Суљовић; born 5 March 1972) is an Austrian professional darts player. He plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, having previously played in the British Darts Organisation (BDO). Nicknamed The Gentle, Suljović is noted for his unorthodox throwing action and favouring double 14 as his finishing double where possible. Suljović is the number one Austrian player in the PDC and reached his first major final in 2016 at the European Championship. Justin Pipe
Justin Pipe (born 9 November 1971) is an English former professional darts player who has played in the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He was a former top 10 player. Playing career Pipe was a boxer in his youth, and, as a staunch anti-smoker, he refused to play darts in local pubs as the cigarette smoke would make his eyes water. In 2007, a smoking ban was introduced to England which enabled him to restart his darts career. He first emerged at the 2008 UK Open as a pub qualifier. He defeated Geoff Wylie and Lionel Sams before losing 9–3 to James Wade in the third round. Following this performance, he joined the PDC Pro Tour and reached the same stage of the UK Open a year later, this time losing 9–5 against Andy Jenkins. Stuart Kellett
Stuart Kellett (born 12 August 1981) is a former English darts player. BDO career Kellett reached the last 16 of the 2007 Winmau World Masters, having beaten Andy Fordham among others on the way to the televised stages. He lost 1-3 in sets to the then BDO world champion Martin Adams. He also qualified for the 2008 Zuiderduin Masters, losing both of his group games to Mareno Michels and Darryl Fitton. In 2010, Kellett won both the Scottish Open and the Antwerp Open. His good run of form helped him to qualify for the 2010 Winmau World Masters as the second seed. The 2013 PDC World Darts Championship PDPA Qualifier was a darts event that took place on November 26. Stuart Kellett won the event defeating John Bowles 5-1 in an all unseeded final. 2013 PDC World Darts Championship
The 2013 Ladbrokes World Darts Championship was the 20th World Championship organised by the Professional Darts Corporation since it separated from the British Darts Organisation. The event took place at the Alexandra Palace, London between 14 December 2012 and 1 January 2013. Adrian Lewis was the defending champion having won the last two editions of the tournament, but was beaten by Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals, thus ending Lewis' 15 match unbeaten run at the World Championship. Phil Taylor aged 52 claimed his 16th and last World Championship title with a 7–4 victory over Michael van Gerwen in the final, despite trailing 0–2 and then 2–4 after six sets. Taylor won five sets in a row for the win. Vincent Van Der Voort
Vincent van der Voort (born 18 December 1975) is a Dutch professional darts player on the PDC circuit. As of the 2012 PDC World Darts Championship, his nickname is the "Dutch Destroyer", although he used to go by "Grease Lightning". He is best known for his quick throwing style, which is how he got his temporary nickname "The Fastest Player in the World". He reached the final of the 2007 UK Open, which helped him become a well known face in the world of darts. Playing style Van der Voort is well known for his spasmodic style and machine-gun speed of play which has gained him a reputation in both the BDO and the PDC for being one of the more erratic throwers in the darting world.
