''Terror in the Sky'' is a 1971 television film remake of 1957's ''Zero Hour!'', which itself was based on the 1956 television play '' Flight into Danger'' by Arthur Hailey. The film stars Doug McClure, Lois Nettleton, Roddy McDowall, Leif Erickson, Kenneth Tobey, and Keenan Wynn. ''Terror in the Sky'' originally aired on September 17, 1971 on CBS. Plot Passengers on a plane headed from the Midwest to the West Coast (Winnipeg to Vancouver in the original; Minneapolis to Seattle in the film) get quite ill after eating the chicken pot pie entree. Both pilots also eat the chicken. ''Banacek'' is an American detective television series starring George Peppard that aired on NBC from 1972 to 1974. The series was part of the rotating '' NBC Wednesday Mystery Movie'' anthology. It alternated in its time slot with several other shows, but was the only one of them to last beyond its first season. Premise Peppard played Thomas Banacek, a Polish-American freelance, Boston-based, private investigator who solves seemingly impossible thefts. After two Television pilot, pilot episodes, the show originally aired on NBC from 1971 to 1978 as one of the rotating programs of ''The NBC Mystery Movie''. ''Columbo'' then aired on American Broadcasting Company, ABC as part of ''The ABC Mystery Movie'' from 1989 to 1990 and less frequently starting in late 1990. The last installment was broadcast in 2003. Because the ''Columbo'' episodes from late 1990 to 2003 aired infrequently, different DVD sets have been released around the world.
