Bernard Bonnin
Bernard Bonnin (September 8, 1938 – November 21, 2009) was a Spanish Filipino actor. Early life He was born on September 8, 1938, to parents Juan S. Bonnin, a pure Spaniard from Palma de Mallorca, and Lina Zayco, a native of Himamaylan, Negros Occidental. He moved to Manila at the age of 14 to complete his secondary education in San Beda. Career He rose to fame with the 1965 movie, ''Palos''. In 2008, ABS-CBN remade ''Palos'' into a teleserye starring Jake Cuenca, with Bonnin returning in a supporting role. Bonnin appeared in over 100 films, including ''Gagamba'', ''Ako ang Lalagot sa Hininga Mo'', ''Code Name: Bomba'', ''Target: Captain Karate''. His first film was ''Ay Pepita''. Himamaylan, Negros Occidental
Himamaylan (), officially the City of Himamaylan ( hil, Dakbanwa/Syudad sang Himamaylan; fil, Lungsod ng Himamaylan), is a 3rd class component city in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 116,240 people. This component city located is south of Bacolod, the provincial capital. ''Alyas Pogi 2'' () is a 1992 Filipino action film directed by Marlon Bautista and Toto Natividad. Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. reprises the titular role, with Rita Avila, Charito Solis, Jay Ilagan, Michael de Mesa, Leo Martinez, Bernard Bonnin, Lani Lobangco, Subas Herrero and Max Alvarado joining the cast. It is the sequel to the 1990 film '' Alyas Pogi: Birador ng Nueva Ecija''. Produced by Moviestars Production, the film was released on August 26, 1992. Critic Justino Dormiendo of the ''Manila Standard'' gave the film a severely negative review for its dialogue and sadistic violence, describing it as a "theater of cruelty."
