Berea District
Berea is a district of Lesotho. In the west, Berea borders on the Free State Province of South Africa. Domestically, it borders on the following districts: Leribe District in the north, Thaba-Tseka District in southeast and Maseru District in the south. Teyateyaneng is the capital of the district. It is also home to the Kome Cave Dwellings. It is also the only district in Lesotho which is not named after its capital. As of 2016, the district had a population of 262,616 which was 13.32 per cent of the total population of the country. The total area of the district was 2,222 which was 7.32 per cent of the total area of the country. As of 2008, there were 48 per cent economically active people in the district. There were totally 53,126 employed people out of a total of 100,776 people in the district above 15 years of age. Kueneng
Kueneng is a community council located in the Berea District of Lesotho. Its population in 2006 was 21,887. Education St. Theresa's located in Bela-Bela was the first mission established in 1931. It began with a primary school and a clinic. It has now developed to a secondary high school known as Holy Names High School with 550 students, 55 of whom are boarders. Mosalemane
Mosalemane is a Constituencies of Lesotho, constituency in Lesotho with 14,001 registered voters. The constituency was won in 1965 by Basotho National Party (BNP) member J K Rampeta. In 1970 it was won also by BNP even though the 1970 elections were marred by violence. In 1993 Lijane Selikane won the election as member of the Basutoland Congress Party (BCP). He further won it in 1998 and 2002 under a new party Lesotho Congress for Democracy (LCD). In 2007 Liau Ntlele won the elections under LCD and he won it again in 2012 under a new party Democratic Congress (DC). In the latest election Samuel Tsoinyana Rapapa won the constituency in 2015 and 2017 Elections under the All Basotho Convention (ABC).
