Beragee Bomb
''Beragee Bomb'' is a 2013 comedy Manipuri film directed by O. Gautam and written by Laishram Santosh. It stars Gurumayum Bonny, Leishangthem Tonthoi, Loya, Suraj Sharma Laimayum and Edwin Soibam. The movie was released on 31 August 2013 at MFDC with a Red Carpet Event, hosted by WOL Media for the first time in Manipuri cinema. The official trailer of the film was released by WOL Media on 18 August 2013. A sequel to the film titled ''Moreh Maru'' was produced by RT Motion Pictures and released in 2016. Synopsis Mani and Thoibi decides to elope one day. Manibabu, who constantly threatens Thoibi, learns about it and starts chasing them. As a series of unforeseen events unfolded, the eloping lovebirds and Mani's friends Mangal and Ahenba find themselves hooked around a bomb discovered in a scooter they took from a college parking area. Oinam Gautam Singh
Oinam Gautam Singh (popularly known as ''O. Gautam'') is an Indian film director and editor who works in Manipuri films. He started his career in Manipuri cinema as an editor and later took up direction since more than a decade. One of the successful filmmakers in Manipuri Cinema, he is the recipient of many awards, including a National Film Award for his 2011 movie ''Phijigee Mani''. Gautam has worked under eminent film personalities like Aribam Syam Sharma and Oken Amakcham. He had been a Jury Member of Indian Panorama for 45th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2014. Gurumayum Bonny Sharma is an Indian actor and singer who predominantly appears in Manipuri films. He is famous for movies 'Yaiskul Pakhang Angaoba', 'Beragee Bomb', 'Mr Khadang'. He is a resident of Keishamthong Maning Longjam Leikai, Imphal, Manipur. He has also worked in the ''Shumang Kumheis'' including ''Kunti'' series, ''Nongallamdaisida'', ''Opium War'', and ''Pizza''. Career ''Bonny'' had tried many jobs before coming into the world of performing arts. In 1994-95, he joined Bashikhong Dramatic Union. The Cinema of Manipur is the film industry based in Manipur, India. It includes not only Meitei language movies but all the films made in different languages of the different communities in Manipur. The Manipuri film industry was born when '' Matamgi Manipur'' was released on 9 April 1972. Before this, there were many attempts to make a film in the state, the most significant being ''Mainu Pemcha'' in 1948 which was left incomplete due to various problems. ''Moreh Maru'' (English: ''Moreh Tablet'') is a 2016 comedy Manipuri film directed by O. Gautam and written by Laishram Santosh. It stars Gurumayum Bonny, Bala Hijam, Mukabala (Loya) and Roshan Pheiroijam in the lead roles. ''Moreh Maru'' was premiered at MSFDS on 26 October 2016, and released on 27 October 2016 at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre (BOAT), Palace Compound, Imphal.
