Benyamin Bahadori
Benyamin Bahadori () is an Iranian pop singer, composer, songwriter and actor. from Tehran, Iran. His first album,"85" released in 2006, was a massive commercial success within Iran and with the Iranian diaspora abroad. Also known as his stage name Benyamin, he is one of the most popular pop singers in Iran. Benyamin has released four studio albums and numerous singles so far. He also sang soundtracks for the Movies "Gorgo Mish" and "A Few Cubic Meters of Love" ("Chand Metr Moka'ab Eshgh"). In 2007, a BBC documentary called "Rageh Inside Iran" described him as a "Big Star of Iran" who had sold twenty million copies of his album at the beginning of his career. Although a pop singer, Benyamin often includes elements of hip hop (Biya Ashegham kon) and rap (Kojaye Donyai) into his music and some of the songs in his latest album "94" have English lyrics. Benny Daniel (born on 18 May 1971), better known by his pen name Benyamin, is an Indian writer in Malayalam from Kerala. He is the author of about thirty books in various genres – from short stories to novels and memoirs. For his novel ''Goat Days'' (''Aadujeevitham''), he won the Abu Dhabi Sakthi Award, Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award and JCB Prize, and was shortlisted for the Man Asian Literary Prize. The novel ''Manthalirile 20 Communist Varshangal'' won the Vayalar Award in 2021. Apart from literature he ventured Malayalam film industry in 2023 as a co-writer of the Malayalam film '' Christy'' with the writer G.R. Indugopan, which marked his debut as a screenwriter. Benyamin Sueb (5 March 19395 September 1995) was an Indonesian comedian, actor and singer. He released 46 studio albums and starred in more than 50 films. He received two Citra Awards for ''Intan Berduri'' in 1973 and ''Si Doel Anak Modern'' in 1977. Early life Benyamin was born in Kemayoran, Batavia, on 5 March 1939. His parents were Suaeb and Aisyah. His father's real name was Sukirman but changed to Suaeb since he lived in Batavia. At the age of two, Benyamin's father died. Later on, he was permitted to be a street performer. In 1946, he studied at Bendungan Jago Elementary School. When he was in the fifth or sixth grade, he moved to Santo Yusuf Elementary School in Bandung. After graduating, he continued his studies at Taman Madya Cikini Junior High School, and then Taman Siswa Senior High School in Kemayoran.
