Benson Hunt is a Samoan international footballer who plays as a forward for Vailima Kiwi. He made his debut for the Samoa national team on 31 August 2015 in a 3–2 victory against American Samoa during 2018 World Cup qualification. Hunt was the top scorer and most valuable player of the 2013–14 Samoa National League while playing with Vaitoloa. The Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) is one of the six continental confederations of international association football. The OFC has 13 members, 11 of which are full members and two which are associate members not affiliated with FIFA. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – OFC First Round
The first round of OFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (and 2016 OFC Nations Cup qualification) was played from 31 August to 4 September 2015 in Tonga. Format In this round, four teams, as determined by the OFC in March 2014, played a single round-robin tournament held in a single country which was later decided to be in Tonga. All matches were held at the Loto-Tonga Soka Centre in Nuku'alofa.
