Benoît Poilvet
Benoît Poilvet (born 27 August 1976 in Saint-Brieuc) is a French professional road bicycle racer. He rode for UCI ProTeam Crédit Agricole between 2000 and 2007. For the 2008 season he joined the continental team Bretagne Armor Lux, with whom when the team was an amateur team he had raced. In May 2008, Poilvet took his first professional race victory with stage 5 of the Tour de Bretagne Cycliste. Poilvet also took the leader's jersey which he would keep to win the race. Saint-Brieuc (, Breton language, Breton: ''Sant-Brieg'' , Gallo language, Gallo: ''Saent-Berioec'') is a city in the Côtes-d'Armor Departments of France, department in Brittany (administrative region), Brittany in northwestern France. Road bicycle racing is the cycle sport discipline of road cycling, held primarily on paved roads. Crédit Agricole () was a French professional cycling team managed by Roger Legeay. From 1998 to 2008, the team was sponsored by the French bank Crédit Agricole. Prior to 1997, the team was known as Vêtements Z–Peugeot (1987), Z–Peugeot (1988–89), Z (1990–92) and GAN (1993–98). In 1990, the team's leading cyclist, the American Greg LeMond, won the Tour de France. The team also won the team title at the Tour de France that year. Crédit Agricole announced that they would cease to sponsor the team after 2008, and the team was subsequently disbanded. Tour de Bretagne Cycliste, also known as the Tour de Bretagne trophée des granitiers and formerly known as Ruban Granitier Breton, is an annual early season professional cycling stage race held in late April and early May in Brittany, France. The race often acts as a showcase for upcoming riders of the under-23 category who race together with Elite riders. The race was renamed Tour de Bretagne in 2005 when it also became a professional race. The 2007 edition was dominated by Lars Boom and Edvald Boasson Hagen who both wore the leader's jersey and won stages of the race. The 2008 edition was dominated by the Rabobank team with defending champion Lars Boom and Coen Vermeltfoort winning two stages each. Critérium International
The Critérium International was a two-day Stage (bicycle race), bicycle stage race held in France every spring from 1932 until 2016, typically the last weekend of March. It was formerly known as the Critérium National de la Route, first run in 1932. For many years it was considered a sort of French national championship and was finally opened to non–French cyclists in 1979. Bernard Hinault is the only cyclist to win the race in both its forms.
