Bennetts Motorcycling Services Limited is a specialist insurance broker for motorcycles headquartered in Peterborough, with a contact centre in Coventry, owned by Lucida Group since May 2021. History Bennetts was founded by Frederick J Bennett in 1930 in Coventry. Trading as F.J. Bennett and Sons, they initially provided general insurance services for customers in the West Midlands. By the early 1980s, trading as G.F. Bennett and Co and managed by Frederick's son Gordon, the company focussed on providing motorcycle insurance. Additionally, ''The Times'' newspaper noted: "It also offers Travel Insurance provided by Aspen Syndicate which underwrites for Lloyds Insurance." John Warren McGuinness (16 April 1972) is an England, English motorcycle road racer, best known as a specialist at the Isle of Man TT, where he has won 23 races and sits 3rd in the all-time win list behind Michael Dunlop and Joey Dunlop. He and Mike Hailwood hold the record for the most Senior TT wins: 7. Until early 2017 he had a long association with Honda#Motorcycles, Honda machines, having factory support in Road racing, road races like the Isle of Man TT, the North West 200 and the Macau Grand Prix, and also on the short tracks in the British Superstock and Supersport series. British Superbike Championship
The British Superbike Championship (BSB), known for sponsorship reasons as the Bennetts British Superbike Championship, is a road racing championship for superbike class machines in the United Kingdom and acknowledged as the premier domestic superbike racing series in the world. The championship is managed and organised by MotorSport Vision, which also owns many of the circuits the series visits. Rory Skinner (born 27 September 2001) is a British motorcycle racer from Perth, Scotland, competing in the 2024 British Superbike Championship with TAS Racing. He is best known for winning the 2020 British Supersport Championship. Skinner had a broken 2024 season, suffering crash injuries in May and again in July. Cal Crutchlow (born 29 October 1985) is an English professional motorcycle racer who retired from regular competition after the 2020 season.
