Benjamin Jeannot
Benjamin Jeannot (born 22 January 1992) is a French former professional footballer who lastly played as a striker for Ligue 2 club Caen. A French youth international, Jeannot starred for his nation at under-16, under-17, and under-18 level. With the under-17 team, Jeannot played at the 2009 UEFA European Under-17 Football Championship in Germany. Career Early career Jeannot began his career with local club AS Dommartin-les-Toul in September 1999. In June 2002, he joined professional club AS Nancy. While in the club's youth academy, Jeannot scored 594 goals in various youth team sections. Professional career In July 2009, Jeannot signed his first professional contract agreeing to a three-year deal with Nancy until June 2012. The Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP; English: National Union of Professional Footballers) is the main trade union for professional football players in France. It was founded on 16 November 1961 by Eugène N'Jo Léa and Just Fontaine, two footballers, and Jacques Bertrand, a jurist. As of May 2021, the presidents of the UNFP are Philippe Piat and Sylvain Kastendeuch. Each month, a trophy is awarded by the UNFP to the best players in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Pablo Alejandro Correa Velázquez (born 14 March 1967) is a Uruguayan football coach and a former player who is the manager of French club Nancy. After his retirement as a player, he became the head coach of three French football clubs.
