Bengt Rosén
Bengt Rosén (7 February 1936 – 3 May 2017) was a Swedish politician who served in the Riksdag from 1985 to 1994. His father had also served on the Riksdag. The younger Rosén was born and educated in Götene. He then moved to Skara, then studied law at Lund University. Rosén became a judge in 1963, but left his legal career to run Rosén & Söner, a company owned by his family. Rosén left the business upon his election to the Riksdag. He was reelected twice thereafter in 1988 and 1991. While a member of the Riksdag, Rosén was active in discussions of agriculture and national defense. Skara
Skara is a locality and the seat of Skara Municipality, Västra Götaland County, Sweden with 18,580 inhabitants in 2013. Despite its small size, it is one of the oldest cities in Sweden, and has a long educational and ecclesiastical history. Götene IF
Götene IF is a Swedish football club located in Götene, Västra Götaland County. Background Since their foundation on 24 July 1924, Götene IF has participated mainly in the lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. Following two successive promotions in 2008 and 2009, the club played four seasons in Division 2 which is the fourth tier of Swedish football. This is also the highest level the club has reached in the Swedish league system. Notable players Both Stefan Rodevåg and Jesper Arvidsson started their careers in Götene IF.
