''Beneath'' is a straight-to-DVD horror thriller film co-produced in a first time partnership between Paramount Classics (a Viacom subsidiary) and MTV Films. The film is directed by the newcomer Dagen Merrill, who co-wrote the script with Kevin Burke, and the list of producers include Sean Covel and Chris Wyatt, as well as Troy Craig Poon. In Paramount Classics's first horror movie, which marks the company's expansion from acquisitions into the production arena, the cast includes Nora Zehetner and Matthew Settle. Shooting started 2005 in Vancouver, the film was released on DVD August 7, 2007. It was the first direct-to-video title produced by MTV Films. ''Beneath'' is a 2013 horror film directed by Larry Fessenden. The film had its world premiere at the Stanley Film Festival on May 3, 2013, and later aired on the ''Chiller'' channel. ''Beneath'' stars Daniel Zovatto, Bonnie Dennison, and Chris Conroy as teenagers who must fight for their lives against a man-eating catfish. A digital comic based upon the movie was released in July 2013. The comic, also titled ''Beneath'', explores the backstory behind the catfish and details another group that the giant fish attacked in the 1960s. Plot Six high school seniors head out to a secluded lake for a last day together. The group consists of Johnny, Kitty, her friend Deb, Zeke, Kitty's boyfriend Matt, and Simon, Matt's brother. Crocodile Shop (later simply Croc Shop) is an electro- industrial aggrotech EBM band formed in Berlin, Germany in 1987 by Mick Hale and R. A. Werner from New Jersey. History Crocodile Shop was formed after Hale and Werner ended their previous new wave project, Mod Fun. They became inspired by the "darker" post-punk sounds of Joy Division, New Order, Wire, Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and The Jesus and Mary Chain, which deviated from the styles that other members of the band favored. Over a two week period during a European tour the band fell apart, clearing the way for Hale and Werner to start a new band. "Vapour Trail" is a song by British shoegaze band Ride. It is the closing track of the band's debut album, ''Nowhere'' (1990), released on Creation Records, and was later released as a single in the United States in early 1991. Written by lead guitarist Andy Bell, the song features a distinctive swirling guitar riff, a strong, fill-based drum beat, and a coda that includes a string quartet. The song is the band's most well known and later was voted number 145 on ''Pitchforks "Top 200 Tracks of the 90s". Composition "Vapour Trail" is written in standard tuning, with the main riff constructed from a four chord pattern (C♯ minor–B–A–E) which opens the song and repeats throughout, characterized by the distinct sound of two Rickenbacker 12-string guitars. The company is notable for its award-winning series ''The Journeyman Project'' as well as '' Myst III: Exile, the'' 2001 sequel to Cyan's Myst series. In August 2002, Presto Studios shut down new development after the release of the Xbox title '' Whacked!''.
