Ben Ofoedu
Benedict Spencer Ofoedu () is a British singer-songwriter. He is best known for being the former fiancé of Vanessa Feltz and for his media appearances therewith, though he had some success as a vocalist, having sung on ten UK Singles Chart entries as part of Benz, Phats & Small, and Intenso Project; a solo single, "Your Love", charted at No. 76 on the same chart. Early life Benedict Spencer Ofoedu () was born in Hong Kong and moved to the United Kingdom with his family when he was two years old. His parents were Igbo; his father was a merchant seaman. Career 1980s and 1990s: Early career In 1989, Ofoedu featured on the tracks "Don't Stop" and "The Deep", from Humanoid's Global. He then formed Big Ben & The Fox. Multiply Records was a subsidiary of Telstar Records, that launched in 1993 and went into liquidation in 2004. Its major signings included Sash!, Phats & Small and the Cheeky Girls. It was the brainchild of Mike Hall, who already worked for the parent company Telstar.Early successes included signing Bassment Jaxx's "Flylife", TJR feat Xavier's "Just Gets Better", one of the garage scene's foremost hits, as well as Lil Mo Yin Yang's "Reach", and Junior Vasquez's "If Madonna Calls". ''Let's Sing and Dance'', formerly known as ''Let's Dance'', is a British television programme shown on BBC One, featuring celebrities performing famous dance routines to raise money for the charities Comic Relief and Sport Relief. Girls Aloud were an pop girl group that was created through the ITV talent show '' Popstars: The Rivals'' in 2002.
