Ben Noll
Benjamin Richard Noll (born November 14, 1981) is an American former professional football guard in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys, St. Louis Rams and Detroit Lions. He played college football at the University of Pennsylvania. Early life Noll attended Saint Louis Priory School in St. Louis, where he played right guard. As a junior, he earned All-metro honors. As a senior, he helped his team win the state championship, while earning All-league, All-metro and All-state honors. He also practiced basketball and was a member of the school's rugby club. College career Noll played football scholarship for the University of Pennsylvania while an undergraduate studying at the Wharton School of Business. In American football, a guard (G), otherwise known as an offensive guard (OG), is an Lineman (gridiron football), offensive line player who lines up between the center (American football), center and the offensive tackle, tackles. Like other offensive line positions, guards are used primarily for Blocking (American football), blocking. Right guards (RG) is the term for the guards on the right of the offensive line, while left guards (LG) are on the left side. 2004 NFL Draft
The 2004 NFL draft was the procedure by which National Football League teams selected amateur college football players. It is officially known as the NFL Annual Player Selection Meeting. The draft was held from April 24–25, 2004, at the Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City. No teams chose to claim any players in the supplemental draft that year. The draft was shown on ESPN both days and eventually moved to ESPN2 both days. The draft began with the San Diego Chargers selecting Mississippi quarterback Eli Manning with the first overall selection. They serve as extra players during the team's practices, often as part of the scout team by emulating an upcoming opponent's play style. Andre Gurode
Andre Bernard Gurode (; born March 6, 1978) is an American football coach and former player who is the assistant offensive line coach for the Colorado Buffaloes of the Big XII (NCAA). He played as a center and guard in the National Football League (NFL). Gurode played college football for the Colorado Buffaloes, earning consensus All-American honors. He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2002 NFL draft. During his eight seasons with Dallas, he was named to five Pro Bowls. In his final three seasons, Gurode spent one year each with the Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, and Oakland Raiders. Early life Gurode was born in Houston, Texas.
