Ben Hackworth
Ben Hackworth (born 12 July 1977) is an Australian writer and film director. He is best known for his work on the films ''Martin Four'', ''Corroboree'' and ''Celeste (2018 film), Celeste''. Biography Ben was born in Brisbane, Queensland. His father is retired Colonel David Hackworth. He studied at Amherst College in the United States, before returning to Australian to complete a Masters of Film at Victorian College of the Arts. In 2005, he completed a Masters of Film with his script for a feature film called The Serpent. In 2006, he was accepted into the prestigious Cannes Film Festival residence to develop this project in Paris. Brisbane International Film Festival
The Brisbane International Film Festival (BIFF) is an annual film festival held in Brisbane, Australia. Organised by the Screen Culture unit at Screen Queensland, the festival has taken place since 1992, with the program including features, documentaries, shorts, indies, experimental efforts, retrospectives, late night thrillers, animation, and children's films. The festival has attracted more than 400,000 visitors across its history. The festival was replaced by the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival from 2014-2016 but has been revived in 2017 while the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival has ceased operations. Santa Barbara International Film Festival
The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) is an eleven-day film festival held in Santa Barbara, California in February annually, since 1986. The festival screens over 200 feature films and shorts from different countries and regions. SBIFF also includes celebrity tributes, industry panels and education programs.
