Belzebubs
Belzebubs is a Finnish webcomic and fictional black metal band created by JP Ahonen. Summary The webcomic centers around the daily lives of a family that has a stereotypical black metal aesthetic and the black metal band of Sløth, the family's father. History The webcomic was first launched by JP Ahonen, a freelance illustrator from Finland, in 2016 after finding inspiration in a sketch he made for an Inktober challenge. In 2019, a full-length album was released under the Belzebubs name, entitled ''Pantheon of the Nightside Gods''. Produced by Century Media and Edge of Sanity vocalist Dan Swanö, the names of the participating musicians has not been officially released. That year, the first Belzebubs book was also published. In 2020, Finnish animation studio Pyjama Films and Finnish public broadcaster YLE began making a TV series based on the webcomic. Beelzebubs
The Tufts Beelzebubs, frequently referred to as "The Bubs", is a male collegiate a cappella, a cappella group of students from Tufts University that performs a mix of pop, rock, R&B, and other types of music while spreading their motto of "Fun through Song". Founded in 1962, they have toured in Europe, Asia, South America, and North America, and they competed on NBC's ''The Sing-Off'' in December 2009, finishing in second place. The group is best known for providing song arrangements and background vocals for the fictional all-male a cappella glee club "The Dalton Academy Warblers" on the American TV series ''Glee (TV series), Glee'', although the Bubs do not play club members on screen. Singles by the Warblers, with series stars Darren Criss and Chris Colfer performing lead vocals, have collectively sold over 2 million copies. Edge of Sanity was a Swedish death metal band that, alongside Opeth, is commonly regarded as being the first to fuse extreme metal styles like death metal, death and black metal with progressive rock. Dan-Erland Swanö (born 10 March 1973), also known as Dan "The Man" Swanö, is a Swedish musician and record producer who is currently the vocalist, guitarist, ex-bassist and ex-drummer for the band Nightingale, lately vocalist, keyboardist and drummer for the band Witherscape, as well as the owner of Unisound. He achieved fame as the vocalist and songwriter of progressive death metal band Edge of Sanity. As a multi-instrumentalist he is regarded as influential in the underground melodic death metal, black metal, progressive metal, death metal, progressive rock, and power metal communities.
