Pavel Belyayev
Pavel Ivanovich Belyayev (; 26 June 1925 – 10 January 1970) was a Soviet cosmonaut who commanded the historic 1965 Voskhod 2 space mission which saw the first space walk. He had been a fighter pilot with extensive experience in piloting different types of aircraft, and was the first commander of the cosmonaut corps. Early life Pavel Belyayev was one of 6 children and was known as ''Pasha'' to his family and friends. He was born on 26 June 1925, in Chelishchevo, now Babushkinsky District, Vologda Oblast, Russia. In 1932 his family moved to the nearby village of Minkovo. His father was a physician's assistant and his mother worked on a collective farm. Belyayev began his schooling at the age of 7 in 1932. The Finnish-Islamic Congregation (, ) is an Islamic congregation which members are local Finnish Tatars, Tatars. It was founded in 1925 and was the first Islamic congregation in Finland. The congregation has activity in Helsinki, Järvenpää, Kotka and Turku. History The first Muslim people in Finland were Finnish Tatars, Tatars. They arrived between the late 1800s and early 1900s as merchants from the Russian Empire. They were mainly Mishar Tatars, but some other Turkic peoples came as well, such as Bashkirs and Kazakhs. Yury Viktorovich Belyayev (; born 28 August 1947) is a Soviet and Russian film and theatre actor. He has received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (1995) and the USSR State Prize (1991). Biography Belyayev began studying at drama school Stupinskaya Studio (Theatre Youth) under the direction of O. Livanova. After leaving school he worked in a factory, he served in the Soviet Army, worked as an instructor DOSAAF, a janitor. In 1975, Belyayev graduated from the Shchukin Theatre School (course of Lyudmila Stavskaya). In the same year he became an actor of the Moscow Taganka Theater. Yevgeny Prokopievich Belyayev () (March 20, 1954 – March 15, 2003) was a Soviet/Russian cross-country skier who competed in the 1970s and 1980s, representing the Soviet Union at the international level. Spartak Timofeyevich Belyaev (October 27, 1923 – January 5, 2017) was a Soviet and Russian theoretical physicist who was awarded a Lomonosov Gold Medal. Biography Belyaev was born on October 27, 1923, in Moscow, Russia. When World War II began, he graduated from high school and by August 1941 enlisted himself into the Army as a volunteer. During that time he participated in various battles in Caucasus and liberation of Poland in 1945. After long years of war, he declined the offer on keeping the career and instead decided to become a physicist by applying to the Moscow State University. Two years later he already got a job there as a researcher at the Atomic Energy Institute which later on was renamed as Kurchatov Institute. He worked there till 1962 and between that year and 1958 also worked at the Niels Bohr Institute in Copenhagen.
