Belvision Studios also known as Belvision is a Belgian audiovisuel production company and animation studio that was founded in 1954 by Raymond Leblanc who previously founded publishing company Le Lombard that is currently owned by Média-Participations through its Belgian publishing company Dupuis. Although the studio is best known for producing animated films and animated television series based on Franco-Belgian comics series such as Tintin, Asterix and Lucky Luke, they also develop live-action film & television series productions. La Trois (''lit: The Three'') is a Belgian national television channel operated by the French-language public-service broadcasting organisation RTBF. It was launched on 30 November 2007 and is distributed via digital terrestrial television, satellite, cable, and IPTV. La Trois timeshares with Auvio Kids TV, a children block, between 6/9 am to 8pm. Rai Gulp is an Italian free-to-air television channel owned and operated by state-owned public broadcaster RAI. It is the company's television channel for older children and teenagers, and is known for its programming for children between the ages of eight and fourteen. Piwi+ (formerly Piwi) is a French pay television channel for children aged 3 to 6, owned by the Canal+. History Piwi was launched on December 3, 2003, as the preschool channel from Télévision Par Satellite. In 2007, TPS merged with its competitor Canalsat. In 2016–2017, Piwi+ became a Canal+ exclusive all around the world, being removed of all French ISPs on 31 December 2016. It is also distributed on VOO in Belgium and Teleclub Les + in Switzerland.
