Belra is a village which is located in Roorkee tehsil of Haridwar district in Uttarakhand, India. Roorkee
Roorkee (Rūṛkī; ) is a city and Municipal Corporations in India, municipal corporation in the Haridwar district of the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is from Haridwar, the district headquarters. It is spread over a flat terrain under the Sivalik Hills of the Himalayas. The city is developed on the banks of the Ganges Canal, its dominant feature, which flows from north–south through the middle of the city. Roorkee became part of the Landhaura, Landhaura estate of the Gurjar, Gurjars in 1824 after the death of Ram Dayal Singh, Ram Dayal Singh Gurjar. National Highway 8 (India)
National Highway 8 (NH 8) is a National Highway in India running from Karimganj in Assam to Sabroom in Tripura. It ends at Maitri Setu, a bridge which connects to Ramgarh in Chittagong, Bangladesh. It is not to be confused with former NH 8 (Delhi-Jaipur- Baroda-Bombay), which has been renumbered NH 48. Haridwar
Haridwar (; ; formerly Mayapuri) is a city and municipal corporation in the Haridwar district of Uttarakhand, India. With a population of 228,832 in 2011, it is the second-largest city in the state and the largest in the district. Pradhan (Devanagari: प्रधान) is generally ministerial title of Sanskrit origin used in the Indian subcontinent. Katabatic Winds
A katabatic wind (named ) is a downslope wind caused by the flow of an elevated, high-density air mass into a lower-density air mass below under the force of gravity. The spelling catabatic is also used. Since air density is strongly dependent on temperature, the high-density air mass is usually cooler, and the katabatic winds are relatively cool or cold.
