Ota (alternatively spelled Otta) is a town in Ogun State, Nigeria with an estimated 163,783 residents. Ota is the capital of the Ado-Odo/Ota, Ado–Odo/Ota Local Government Area. Ogun State is a state in southwestern Nigeria.
