Bella Milo
Bella Milo (born 29 May 1986) is a Samoan rugby union player. She competed for Samoa at the 2006 and 2014 Rugby World Cups. She has also represented Samoa in sevens rugby. Biography Milo represented Samoa at the 2006 and 2014 Rugby World Cups. In 2014 she took up her cousin's suggestion to play in Hong Kong and three years later she became the backs and the strength and conditioning coach for Hong Kong. She made her third World Cup appearance in 2017 as Hong Kong's assistant coach. In 2016, Milo featured for the Samoa 7s team at the Olympic repechage tournament in Ireland. Auckland Rugby Union
The Auckland Rugby Union is a New Zealand provincial rugby union. The union was established in 1883 and was originally responsible for the administration of the sport in most of the former Auckland Province, although its boundaries have since shrunk to include only a portion of the Auckland, Auckland urban area. The union governs the Auckland rugby union team, Auckland representative team, which has won New Zealand's first-tier domestic provincial competition 17 times, more than any other team. 2023 WXV
The 2023 WXV was the first edition of WXV, a women's rugby union, women's Women's international rugby union, international rugby union Group tournament ranking system, group tournament for senior national teams organised by World Rugby, and took place between 13 October and 4 November. 2016 Rugby World Women's Sevens Olympic Repechage Tournament
The 2016 Rugby World Women's Sevens Olympic Repechage Tournament was a qualification tournament for the women's rugby sevens 2016 Summer Olympics which was held on 25–26 June 2016. The tournament used a round-robin format, with the top team qualifying directly to the Olympics. The tournament took place at the UCD Bowl in Dublin, Ireland. Teams 1. Kenya, as the runners-up in the African qualifying tournament, would have qualified to this tournament, but instead qualified directly for the Olympics after South Africa withdrew. Madagascar, the fifth-place finisher in qualifying, was named as a replacement. 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup
The 2017 Women's Rugby World Cup was the eighth edition of the Women's Rugby World Cup and was held in Ireland in August 2017. New Zealand became the 2017 champions by beating England 41–32 in the final on 26 August. Matches were held in Dublin and Belfast. The pool stages were held at University College Dublin with the semi-finals and finals held at Queen's University and Kingspan Stadium in Belfast. The tournament took place three rather than four years after the previous Women's Rugby World Cup because World Rugby wanted to move away from clashing with other events. The event returned to a four-year cycle after 2017. The 2017 tournament set attendance records for a Women's World Cup. The tournament drew 45,412 fans over 30 matches. The Women's Rugby World Cup is the women's rugby union world championship which is organised by World Rugby. The first Rugby World Cup for women was held in 1991, but it was not until the 1998 tournament that the tournament received official backing from the International Rugby Board (IRB, now World Rugby); by 2009, the IRB had retroactively recognized the 1991 and 1994 tournaments and their champions. Normally, the tournament is held every four years; it was moved forward in 2017 so that the competition could be held in the year before the Commonwealth Games.
