Belgrade Waterfront
Belgrade Waterfront (), is an urban renewal development project headed by the Government of Serbia aimed at changing Belgrade's cityscape and economy by revitalizing the Sava amphitheater, between the Belgrade Fair and Branko's bridge, including the Savamala neihgbourhood. It was started in 2014 with the reconstruction of the Belgrade Cooperative building, which was finished in June of the same year. It is the second largest mixed use complex under construction in Europe, just after Minsk Mir, worth $3.5 billion. Belgrade Waterfront complex will include 10,000 residential units, bilingual elementary school and kindergartens, luxury hotels including St. Regis, the largest shopping mall in southeast Europe Galerija, and public buildings. Belgrade Tower
Belgrade Tower (), officially known as Kula Belgrade, is a 42-floor, tall skyscraper as part of the Belgrade Waterfront project in Belgrade, Serbia. Upon the completion of the outer structure in 2022, it became the tallest building in Belgrade and the Western Balkans, and has been promoted as "the beacon of the entire master-planned community." Outside of Turkey, it remained the tallest building in the Balkans for a year before being surpassed by the Sky Fort in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2023. Aleksandar Vučić, (born 5 March 1970) is a Serbian politician serving as President of Serbia since 2017. A founding member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), he previously served as President of the SNS from 2012 to 2023, Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia, First Deputy Prime Minister from 2012 to 2014, and Prime Minister of Serbia from 2014 to 2017. Gazela Bridge
The Gazela Bridge () is the most important bridge over the Sava river in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is a part of the city highway, and it lies on the local M11 expressway, on the expressway passing through the wider city center, connecting western parts of the city with eastern. The bridge was designed by a group of engineers led by Milan Đurić, and built by the Mostogradnja company. Name The name of the bridge, ''gazela'' is Serbian for "gazelle". Đorđe Lazarević, who was president of the competition commission, said that "this bridge leaped over the Sava like a jumping gazelle", and the name stuck. New Belgrade railway station ( sr-Cyrl, Железничка станица Нови Београд) is a railway station in New Belgrade, Belgrade, Serbia. The railroad continues to Tošin Bunar and Zemun in one direction, and Belgrade Centre in the other direction. New Belgrade railway station consists of five railway tracks. Pupin Bridge
The Pupin Bridge ( sr-cyr, Пупинов мост, Pupinov most) is a road bridge over the Danube River in Belgrade, Serbia. The bridge is located upstream of the city center and connects Belgrade neighbourhoods of Zemun and Borča. It is part of Semi-Inner Ring circle. Opened in December 2014, it became the second bridge over the Danube in Belgrade, after the Pančevo Bridge in 1946.
