Beijing World Youth Academy (), or BWYA, is an international school that serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 located at Laiguangying of Beijing, China. History The school was founded in 2001. The school moved to a new campus in 2021. Structure The primary curriculum offered is International Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate (IB), with the IB Primary Years Programme, Primary Years Program (PYP) offered from grades 1 to 5, the IB Middle Years Programme, Middle Years Program (MYP) from grades 6 to 10 and the IB Diploma Programme, Diploma Program (DP) offered in grades 11 and 12. Laiguangying
Laiguangying Township () is a Townships of China, township on the northern part of Chaoyang District, Beijing, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China. It borders Tiantongyuannan, Tiantongyuanbei Subdistricts and Beiqijia Town to the north, Sunhe and Cuigezhuang Townships to the east, Donghu Subdistrict, Beijing, Donghu and Datun Subdistricts to the south, Tiantongyuannan and Aoyuncun Subdistricts to the west. The International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an educational programme for students between the ages of 11 and 16 around the world as part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. The International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) is an English language based secondary qualification similar to the GCSE and is recognised in the United Kingdom as being equivalent to the GCSE for the purposes of recognising prior attainment. The ''FIRST'' Lego League Challenge (formerly known as ''FIRST'' Lego League) is an international competition organized by '' FIRST'' for elementary and middle school students (ages 9–14 in the United States and Canada, 9-15 elsewhere).
