Beijing No.4 High School
Beijing No.4 High School (Chinese: ) is a public secondary school in Xicheng, Beijing, China. The school's predecessor was built in 1907 and was originally named "Shuntian Middle School." In 1949, it was renamed "Beijing No. 4 High School." In 2005, it merged with Beihai Secondary School and resumed junior high school enrollment. In 2008, some teachers from Ethnicity Unity Secondary School were merged into the school. The school merged with Beijing No. 63 Secondary School in 2015. It currently has four campuses: high school, junior high school, Guangzhou Guangwai campus, and Fuxingmen international campus. Xicheng District
Xicheng District () is a district of Beijing. Xicheng District spans , covering the western half of the old city (largely inside the 2nd Ring Road - the eastern half is Dongcheng District, Beijing, Dongcheng District), and has 706,691 inhabitants (2000 Census). Its List of postal codes in China, postal code is 100032. Xicheng is subdivided into 15 subdistricts of the city proper of Beijing. The former Xuanwu District, Beijing, Xuanwu District was merged into Xicheng in July 2010. Chen Haosu (born 1942) is a Chinese poet and politician. He served as Chairman of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries from 2000 to 2011. He is also President of the China International Friendship Cities Association, China-Russia Friendship Association and China-EU Association. Born in May 1942, Chen is son of the late Marshal and Foreign Minister Chen Yi. Lin Liguo
Lin Liguo (, December 23, 1945 – September 13, 1971) was the son of the Chinese Communist military leader Lin Biao and the person in charge of Project 571 Outline, a plotted coup against Mao Zedong. Biography Lin was born in 1945. He graduated from the elite Beijing No. 4 High School and later entered the Faculty of Physics at Peking University. He later became member of the Chinese Communist Party. Following the start of Cultural Revolution, he dropped out of the university and joined the People's Liberation Army Air Force in 1967. Lin was promoted to the deputy director of the Office of the Air Force Command in 1969, by the commander of PLAAF Wu Faxian. This was an important position and all crucial documents must pass through the hands of Lin.
