Nocturnal Enuresis
Nocturnal enuresis (NE), also informally called bedwetting, is involuntary urination while asleep after the age at which bladder control usually begins. Bedwetting in children and adults can result in emotional stress. Complications can include urinary tract infections. Most bedwetting is a developmental delay—not an emotional problem or physical illness. Only a small percentage (5 to 10%) of bedwetting cases have a specific medical cause. Bedwetting is commonly associated with a family history of the condition. Nocturnal enuresis is considered ''primary'' when a child has not yet had a prolonged period of being dry. ''Secondary'' nocturnal enuresis is when a child or adult begins wetting again after having stayed dry. Treatments range from behavioral therapy, such as bedwetting alarms, to medication, such as hormone replacement, and even surgery such as urethral dilatation. Since most bedwetting is simply a developmental delay, most treatment plans aim to prote ...

Time Loop
The time loop or temporal loop is a plot device in fiction whereby Character (arts), characters re-experience a span of time which is repeated, sometimes more than once, with some hope of breaking out of the cycle of repetition. Time loops are constantly resetting; when a certain condition is met, such as a death of a character or a certain point in time, the loop starts again, possibly with one or more characters retaining the memories from the previous loop. A time loop is also sometimes used to describe a scenario involving time travel where events form a circular chain of causality. In this context, actions in the past lead to future events, which then trigger the original journey back in time, creating a self-contained loop without a clear starting point. This concept challenges the conventional linear view of time and is often explored in science fiction and theories of temporal physics, such as those involving closed timelike curves. History An early example of a time loop ...

His subsequent cheating of death earns him eternal punishment in the Greek underworld, underworld, once he dies of old age. The gods forced him to roll an immense boulder up a hill only for it to roll back down every time it neared the top, repeating this action for eternity. Through the classicism, classical influence on contemporary culture, tasks that are both wikt:laborious#Adjective, laborious and wikt:futile#Adjective, futile are therefore described as Sisyphean (). Etymology Robert S. P. Beekes, R. S. P. Beekes has suggested a pre-Greek origin and a connection with the root of the word ' (σοφός, "wise"). German mythographer Otto Gruppe thought that the name derived from ' (σίσυς, "a ...

Queen Bee (sociology)
A queen bee is a woman who dominates or leads a group, is in a favoured position or behaves as such. The term has been applied in several social settings. Businesses In a business environment, ''queen bee'' may refer to women who are emotionally immature and view other women as competition, but not necessarily all other women. They often will refuse to help other women advance within a company by, for example, preferring to mentor a male over a female employee. Some may actively take steps to hinder another woman's advancement as they are seen as direct competitors. Such tactics are sometimes referred to as heterophily (in the sense of positive preference and favoritism for opposite-sex colleagues) or the queen bee syndrome. The term ''loophole woman'', coined by Caroline Bird in her book ''Born Female: The High Cost of Keeping Women Down'' (1968), has a similar meaning. Marie Mullaney defines the loophole woman as one who, "successful in a male-dominated field such as law, bus ...
