Beautiful Goodbye (album)
''Beautiful Goodbye'' is the 11th studio album by singer/songwriter and record producer Richard Marx. It was released on July 8, 2014. It is his first new studio album since his 2008 albums ''Emotional Remains'' and ''Sundown (Richard Marx album), Sundown'', although a seasonal album Christmas Spirit (Richard Marx album), ''Christmas Spirit'' was issued in 2012. The album was preceded by the singles "Turn Off The Night" in the UK on May 20 and "Whatever We Started" in the US on May 22. The title track was released as a single on September 13, 2014. "Just Go", a bonus track, had been previously released as a single on February 14, 2013. According to Nielsen SoundScan, this disc had sold a total of 25,165 American copies as of January, 2018. Richard Marx
Richard Noel Marx (born September 16, 1963) is an American singer-songwriter. He has sold over 30 million albums worldwide. Marx's first number one success as a songwriter came in 1984 with " What About Me?", which was recorded by Kenny Rogers, Kim Carnes, and James Ingram, and topped the US and Canadian Adult Contemporary charts. His second chart-topper was 1985's " Crazy", a song he co-wrote with Rogers which reached number one in the Hot Country Songs chart. Marx's self-titled debut album went triple-platinum in 1987, and his first single, " Don't Mean Nothing", reached number three on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Steven Miller (record Producer)
Steven Miller (born November 8, 1956, in New Jersey) is an American record producer and executive. He is best known for his association with Windham Hill Records, where his ambient sound helped create notable instrumental recordings such as Michael Hedges’ '' Aerial Boundaries'', Mark Isham’s '' Vapor Drawings'' and George Winston’s ''December''. As a guitarist and keyboardist, Miller released a recording of his own compositions, ''Singing Whale Songs in a Low Voice'' (on his Hip Pocket/ Windham Hill Jazz imprint) which featured Isham and pianist Art Lande. Chris Walden (born 10 October 1966) is a seven-time Grammy nominated German composer, arranger, and conductor living in the U.S. He leads the Chris Walden Big Band, and is the founder and artistic director of the Pacific Jazz Orchestra. Michael Thompson (born Michael Wood Thompson, February 11, 1954 in Port Washington, New York) is an American guitarist and songwriter. Thompson is known for his work as a session guitarist during the last 4 decades. He founded the rock group TRW in 2007. Bruce R. Gaitsch (; born February 7, 1953) is an American guitarist, composer, and producer. He is best known for working with notable bands and musicians such as Chicago, Peter Cetera, Madonna, and Agnetha Fältskog as a session musician and songwriter. Harper Blynn
Harper Blynn was a New York-based American rock band composed of singer-songwriters Pete Harper (guitar and vocals) and J. Blynn (guitar and vocals) with Whynot Jansveld on bass and Sarab Singh on drums. Career Harper, a native of Chicago, and Philadelphia-born Blynn met at Amherst College and began playing together in 2001.
