Beau Bartlett
Beau Reynald Bartlett (born February 26, 2001) is an American freestyle and folkstyle wrestler who competes internationally at 65 kilograms and collegiately at 141 pounds. In freestyle, he claimed a bronze medal from the 2021 Junior World Championships. He is currently a senior at 141 pounds for Penn State. Career Early years & high school Bartlett began wrestling at age four under the tutelage of his father, former Fresno State wrestler Andre Bartlett, and continued to wrestle under the guidance of two-time Olympic champion Sergei Beloglazov. He also trained in tumbling. In 2014, Bartlett moved from Tempe, Arizona to Kingston, Pennsylvania to attend Wyoming Seminary. There, he became the first four–time prep national champion in the school's history and also claimed titles in the Powerade Tournament and the Walsh Jesuit Ironman. 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships
The 2021 NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships took place from March 18–20, 2021, in St. Louis, Missouri at the Enterprise Center. The tournament was the 90th NCAA Division I Wrestling Championship, following the cancellation of the 2020 edition, and featured 63 teams across that level. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the event was forced to occur with modifications. Due to the same reason, the Ivy League was unable to compete through the season, leaving out notable teams like Cornell and Princeton, therefore notable wrestlers such as two-time NCAA champion Yianni Diakomihalis and returning returning All-American Vito Arujau. The Maryland Terrapins, commonly referred to as the Terps, consist of 19 men's and women's varsity intercollegiate athletic teams that represent the University of Maryland, College Park in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I competition. Maryland was a founding member of the Southern Conference in 1921, a founding member of the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1952, and is now a member of the Big Ten Conference. The nickname was coined in 1932 by Harry C. "Curley" Byrd, then the school's football coach and later the school's president. The Ohio State Buckeyes wrestling team represents the Ohio State University and competes in the Big Ten Conference of the NCAA Division I level. The Buckeyes host their home meets at the Covelli Center on Ohio State's campus.
