BearTracks Studios
BearTracks Recording Studio was a recording studio complex in Suffern, New York, owned by Jay Beckenstein of Spyro Gyra and built in the early 1980s. Operating from 1982 at 926 Haverstraw Road in Suffern, the studio is no longer in business. It was announced that BearTracks would cease operation shortly after Spyro Gyra recorded their 2006 album '' Wrapped in a Dream''. A dark and faint photograph of the building that holds the studio can be seen on the tray card of Dream Theater's album '' Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory''. The surrounding property was also the location for some of the band's videos associated with the album. Suffern is a Administrative divisions of New York#Village, village that was incorporated in 1796 in the town of Ramapo, New York, Ramapo in Rockland County, New York. Located adjacent to the town of Mahwah, New Jersey, Suffern is located 31 miles northwest of Manhattan. As of the 2020 United States census, 2020 census, Suffern's population was 11,402. David Wilcox (American Musician)
David Patrick Wilcox (born March 9, 1958) is an American folk musician and singer-songwriter guitarist. He has been active in the music business since the late 1980s. Career Wilcox was born in Mentor, Ohio, Mentor, Ohio, and attended Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, in 1976, where he began learning guitar. He later transferred to Warren Wilson College in North Carolina in 1981 and graduated in 1985. Wilcox appeared regularly at a Black Mountain, North Carolina, nightclub called McDibbs. His debut album ''The Nightshift Watchman'' was released in 1987 on Jerry Read Smith's label, Song of the Woods, and was reissued in 1996. He began touring regularly. Jennifer Kimball is a singer and songwriter who formed the folk duo The Story with Jonatha Brooke. Robert McElhiney James (born December 25, 1939) is an American jazz keyboardist, arranger, and record producer.
