Beaconsfield RFC (Quebec)
Beaconsfield Rugby Football Club, from Beaconsfield, England, was founded in 1952 by Jack Hickman, a rugby enthusiast and a leading light at Ealing RFC. Because of the distance he had to travel to support Ealing, he decided to form a new local club and an advert was placed in the Bucks Free Press, along with local contacts. Eventually the first match was played on 1953-10-03 against Windsor Ex 'A'. Beaconsfield have always played on the pitches at Oak Lodge Meadow, but sometimes used the local Army Camp pitch. Before the first clubhouse was obtained, the sides changed at the Army Camp, had tea in the Puffins Tea Shop in the old town and adjourned to The White Horse to entertain the opposition. In 1958, small Burnham Hall was obtained to become the clubhouse. The present clubhouse was completed in 1971. The club regularly field three senior sides, and its mini & youth rugby provides the opportunity for some 700+ players to enjoy the game from under-5s all the way through to colts. ... The Buckinghamshire Rugby Football Union is the sports governing body, governing body for the sport of rugby union in the county of Buckinghamshire in England. The union is the constituent body of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) for Buckinghamshire, and administers and organises rugby union clubs and competitions in the county. Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club
Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club is an English professional rugby union club based in West London. The club's first team are the reigning RFU Championship champions of 2024–25 but were considered ineligible for promotion to Premiership Rugby as their home ground's capacity is too small. They were promoted to the league after they won National League 1 in 2014–15. Structure of the club The club's registered playing name with the RFU is Ealing Trailfinders. Mini Rugby
Mini rugby, also known as New Image Rugby, is a form of rugby union designed to introduce the sport to children. It uses a smaller ball and pitch than standard rugby, and has eight to ten players a side. Invented in England in 1970, mini rugby was soon taken up by both the English Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Welsh Rugby Union. The original game had five backs and four forwards. There were no line-outs and no pushing in the scrum, which was made up of a prop, a hooker, a lock and a flanker. Each position behind the scrum in the senior game was represented by a scrum half, an outside half, a centre, a wing and a fullback. Counties 3 Berks/Bucks & Oxon (formerly Berks, Bucks and Oxon Division 1) is an English rugby union league featuring teams from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. The division was created in 2004-05 as part of a complete overhaul of the Berks/Bucks & Oxon league, with a large number of 2nd, 3rd and 4th teams entering at various levels, and was divided into north and south regions, with the original Berks/Bucks & Oxon 1 division becoming the Berks/Bucks & Oxon Premier and Berks/Bucks & Oxon 1 becoming, in effect, division 2 of the system.
