Beach Break (2024)
The 2024 Beach Break was a two-part professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It was the third Beach Break event and it took place on July 3, 2024, at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois. The two-part event was broadcast as special episodes of AEW's weekly television programs, '' Wednesday Night Dynamite'' and '' Friday Night Rampage''. ''Dynamite'' aired live on TBS while ''Rampage'' aired on tape delay on TNT on July 5. This was the first Beach Break event since 2022. A combined total of nine matches were contested at the event, with four taped for the July 5, 2024 episode of ''Rampage''. In the main event of the ''Dynamite'' broadcast, Will Ospreay defeated Daniel Garcia to retain the AEW International Championship. All Elite Wrestling
All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is an American professional wrestling promotion based in Jacksonville, Florida. It is considered the second largest wrestling promotion in the United States behind WWE. AEW is owned by Shahid Khan and his son Tony, who founded the company in 2019; in-ring performers Matt & Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega also serve as company executives. Its headquarters are located at TIAA Bank Field, the home stadium of the National Football League's Jacksonville Jaguars, a team also owned by Shahid Khan. Broadcast Delay
In radio and television, broadcast delay is an intentional delay when broadcasting live material, technically referred to as a deferred live. Such a delay may be to prevent mistakes or unacceptable content from being broadcast. AEW Bash At The Beach
AEW Bash at the Beach was a series of professional wrestling events produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The two-part, nine-day event began on January 15, 2020, from the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida with a special episode of '' Dynamite'', which aired as a television special on TNT. The series continued with Chris Jericho's Rock 'N' Wrestling Rager at Sea, with matches from the cruise airing on the January 22 episode of ''Dynamite''. The events continued until January 24. The event takes its name from an old World Championship Wrestling (WCW) pay-per-view of the same name, but is not a continuation of that chronology, as that library of events is owned by WWE. The 2021 Beach Break was the inaugural Beach Break professional wrestling television special produced by All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The event took place on February 3, 2021, at Daily's Place in Jacksonville, Florida. It was broadcast on TNT as a special episode of AEW's weekly television program, '' Dynamite''. It replaced Bash at the Beach as the promotion's annual midwinter beach-themed event. On various occasions in professional wrestling, a single-elimination tournament of varying match types are held, often to determine a championship or number-one contendership therein. It has been known for promotions to use title tournament that are fictitious in nature (that is, the title may have been simply awarded under the pretext of winning a tournament elsewhere) - notable ones include the tournaments that established the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and the WWE United States Championship (the latter when it was the NWA United States Championship). Owen Hart Foundation
Martha Joan Hart (née Patterson; born October 31, 1966) is a Canadian philanthropist and researcher who is the widow of professional wrestler Owen Hart. After her husband's death in an accident at Over the Edge, Hart sued the World Wrestling Federation. She later wrote a bestselling book about her husband's life and founded a charity in his name. Bryan Lloyd Danielson (born May 22, 1981) is an American professional wrestler. He is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is a member of the Blackpool Combat Club. The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, is a series of professional wrestling tournaments produced annually by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in partnership with The Owen Hart Foundation. It consists of two single-elimination tournaments, one each for men and women, and the respective winners receive a trophy called "The Owen". Established in September 2021, the inaugural tournaments concluded at the Double or Nothing (2022), Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May 2022 where Adam Cole and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. won the men's and women's tournament respectively. AEW International Championship
The AEW International Championship is a professional wrestling championship created and promoted by the American promotion All Elite Wrestling (AEW). It is a secondary championship for male wrestlers, and unlike AEW's other titles, which are almost exclusively defended on AEW programming, the International Championship can also be defended in other promotions around the world. The current and inaugural champion is Orange Cassidy, who is in his first reign. The title is considered the successor to the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, which had been established on June 8, 2022, and its inaugural champion was Pac.
