Be Happy Be Mormon
Kimball Allen (born February 22, 1982) is an American writer, journalist, playwright, and actor. He is the author of two autobiographical one-man plays: ''Secrets of a Gay Mormon Felon'' (2012) and ''Be Happy Be Mormon'' (2014). The latter premiered at Theatre Row (New York City), Theatre Row in Manhattan on September 24 and 27, 2014, as part of the United Solo Theatre Festival. From 2015 to 2017 he hosted the recurring ''Triple Threat w/ Kimball Allen'', a 90-minute variety talk show at The Triple Door in Seattle. Blackfoot is a city in and the county seat of Bingham County, Idaho, United States. The population was 12,346 at the 2020 census. Blackfoot is the principal city of the Blackfoot, Idaho, Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes Bingham County. Seattle Men's Chorus
Seattle Men's Chorus (SMC) is an LGBTQ community chorus based in Seattle, Washington. The group was founded in 1979, and today is, along with Seattle Women's Chorus, the largest community choral organization in North America. SMC is a member of GALA Choruses and Chorus America. SMC has been led by conductor and artistic director, Paul Caldwell, since 2016. History The first rehearsal was held in September 1979. In the spring of 1980, the first official SMC concert was held at the Museum of History & Industry, Museum of History and Industry. Dennis Coleman became SMC's conductor in May 1981. Waxie Moon (performer)
Waxie Moon is a gender-bending neo-burlesque persona of the performer Marc Kenison. Kenison studied modern dance at Juilliard School and acting at University of Washington. During his six years dancing for the José Limón Company, Kenison performed for the White House and toured other parts of the world, including the war-torn Sarajevo and El Salvador. After co-founding the Washington Ensemble Theater in Seattle, Kenison turned to burlesque and created Waxie Moon, whom he describes as "the gender-blending queer lady boylesque performance art solo stripping sensation". In 2009 Waxie Moon became the subject of Wes Hurley's documentary of the same name.
