Bdrmm
Bdrmm (stylised as bdrmm) is a British shoegaze band. The group currently consists of four members, Ryan Smith (vocals, guitar, synthesizer), Jordan Smith (vocals, bass, synthesizer), Joe Vickers (guitar, bass) and Conor Murray (drums). The group has so far released two studio albums, ''Bedroom (album), Bedroom'' (2020) and ''I Don't Know (album), I Don't Know'' (2023). The project Bdrmm originally started out as a bedroom project, hence the name, by lead vocalist Ryan Smith. After having an early demo get picked up by BBC Radio 1, He later enlisted his brother Jordan Smith (bass and backing vocals) as well as friends, Joe Vickers (guitar), Danny Hull (synth and backing vocals) and Luke Irvin (drums). After touring relentlessly, and releasing two self-recorded demo EPs as well as a handful of singles produced for the first time by longtime collaborator Alex Greaves, the band was signed to Sonic Cathedral in 2019. ''I Don't Know'' is the second studio album by British shoegaze band Bdrmm, released on 30 June 2023 through Rock Action Records. It was produced by Alex Greaves and received positive reviews from critics. Critical reception ''I Don't Know'' received a score of 82 out of 100 on review aggregator Metacritic based on eight critics' reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. UK Album Downloads Chart
The UK Album Downloads Chart is compiled by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on behalf of the music industry. Since July 2015, the chart week runs from Friday to Thursday, with the chart date given as the following Thursday. The chart was introduced in April 2006 to coincide with the OCC's decision to include sales of album downloads in the UK Albums Chart. The first album to top the download chart was '' This New Day'' by Embrace. The chart is published in ''Music Week'', ''UKChartsPlus'' and on the OCC's official website, with the former featuring the Top 75 downloads and the top 100 in the latter two.
