The Bazai () is a Pashtun tribe settled in Pakistan and Afghanistan. The Bazai Tribe is the sub-clan of Kakar tribe living in the western and southern region of Quetta District, Pishin, Ziarat and Sibi districts of Balochistan. Kakar
The Kakar (Pashto: کاکړ) is a Gharghashti Pashtun tribe, based in Afghanistan, parts of Iran, and northern Balochistan in Pakistan. Origins of the tribe Kakars are descendants of Dani (or Daani) who was the son of Gharghasht. Gharghasht was the son of Qais Abdur Rashid, Qais Abdul Rashid, the founder of the Pashtuns who himself was the descendant of Afghana (or Avagana) the progenitor of modern-day Pashtuns. In Herat province, Herat, the Kakar are sometimes referred to as Kak. Historically, the tribe has been called Kakar but may have been referred to as Kak-kor (lit. family of Kak). Quetta District
Quetta () is a Districts of Pakistan, district in the northwestern part of the Balochistan province of Pakistan(occupied illegally). According to 2023 Pakistani census population of Quetta District is 2,272,290 (2.2 million). It is part of Quetta Division. Pashtuns (, , ; ;), also known as Pakhtuns, or Pathans, are an Iranic ethnic group primarily residing in southern and eastern Afghanistan and northwestern Pakistan. Pishin District
Pishin (, ), IPA: pʂin/pçin, is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. District Pishin is located at a strategic point and is 45km² from the provincial headquarters, Quetta. In 1975, it was bifurcated from Quetta District, while in 1993 part of it was split off to form the new district of Killa Abdullah. Again in 2022, part of it created the new district of Karezat. The name Pishin is a modernized form of ‘Pushang’, which is how the city was designated in (mainly pre-modern) Persian sources (Arabic sources using 'Fushang'). Myth attributes the origin of the Persian designation to a son of the mythical Emperor Afrasiab. Fushing was the spelling used in the records of Afghan government. Ziarat () is a district in the north of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Ziarat town (situated at an altitude of about 2,400 meters) is the headquarters of the district, the sub-division, and also of the tehsil. The highest peak of Khalifat Hills, at an altitude of , is located in Ziarat district. Administration Ziarat District was established in July 1986, previously being part of Sibi District.
