Bayan Islamic Graduate School is a private Islamic graduate school based in Orange, California with its campus located in Chicago, Illinois. It offers accredited Master of Arts degrees in four subject areas: Islamic Studies, Islamic Leadership, Islamic Education, and Islamic Theology as well as a Master of Divinity in Islamic Chaplaincy. Bayan-Ölgii Province
Bayan-Ölgii ( ) is the westernmost of the 21 Aimags of Mongolia, aimags (provinces) of Mongolia. The country's only Islam in Mongolia, Muslim and Kazakh people, Kazakh-majority aimag, it was established in August 1940. Its capital is Ölgii (city), Ölgii. Geography The aimag is located in the extreme west of the country, and shares borders with both Russia and China. The border between the two neighbouring countries is very short here, though, and ends after about 40 km at the eastern end of Kazakhstan. Within Mongolia, the neighbouring aimags are Uvs Province, Uvs in the north east and Khovd Province, Khovd in the south east. Bayan-Ölgii is the highest Mongolian aimag. Bayandelger ( ) is a district in the west of Mongolia's Töv Province. As of the 2005 census, it had a population of 1,226 inhabitants in 429 households. History The district (or sum) was founded in 1923 under the name Gün ( ) and as part of the khoshuu of Darkhan Khoshoi Chin Wang Puntsogtsereng in the Tüsheet Khan aimag. 1924 it was renamed to Batdelger uulyn sum, and in 1931 it was renamed again. In 1956 it was split between the Bayan and Erdene sums, with most of the territory going to the latter. Bayanzürkh ( ; ) is one of nine districts of the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. It is subdivided into 20 subdistricts.
