Batu Khasikov
Batu Sergeyevich Khasikov (born 28 June 1980) is a Russian politician, activist and former kickboxer who has served as Head of the Republic of Kalmykia since 2019. He previously served as a Russian Federation Senator from 2012 to 2014 and Member of the People's Khural from 2008 to 2012. As a former professional kickboxer, he has won several world championships. Personal life He was born to an ethnically diverse family, with his father being a Kalmyk and his mother a Tatar. He is a Tibetan Buddhist. Khasikov is married. He has two children. His wife, Elena Khasikova (maiden name Shchur), is a fashion designer who graduated from the with a degree in hotel management in 2009 and in 2013 from the Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health with a degree in athleticism. Tibetan Buddhism is a form of Buddhism practiced in Tibet, Bhutan and Mongolia. Warren "Chaka Zulu" Stevelmans (born 16 May 1983) is a South African kickboxer, fighting out of Vos Gym in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the K-1 MAX Netherlands 2008 tournament champion. Biography and career Despite being born in South Africa, Stevelmans has spent the bulk of his career fighting in the Netherlands. He began his career at C-Class level in 2001 and through 2001 to 2005 won a number of C and B-Class fights, culminating in winning his A-Class debut against Arian Vatniki in Maastricht, Netherlands. Michalis "Iron Mike" Zambidis ( Greek: Μιχάλης Ζαμπίδης; born 15 July 1980) is a professional Greek kickboxer and martial artist. He is an 18-time World Champion, including former World version W5, SUPERKOMBAT and in a series of K-1 Tournaments and Grand Prix Champion. He mostly competed in the K-1 MAX where he scored mostly knockouts. Albert “The Hurricane” Kraus (born August 3, 1980) is a Dutch kickboxer. He was the first K-1 World MAX Tournament Champion in 2002 and also the first SUPERKOMBAT Middleweight Champion. Kraus has also held four separate world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai. He is currently fighting out of Super Pro Gym. Dissernet () is a volunteer community network working to clean Russian science of plagiarism. The core activity of the community is conducting examinations of doctoral and habilitation (higher doctorate) theses defended in Russian scientific and educational institutions since the end of the 1990s, and making the results of such examinations known to as many people as possible.
