Batman Damned
''Batman: Damned'' is an American comic book series published by the comic book publishing company DC Comics. The three-issue limited series, written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Lee Bermejo, began on September 19, 2018 and concluded on June 26, 2019. The series experienced numerous delays throughout its run, with the third issue being rescheduled a total of five times. ''Damned'' was the first series published under the DC Black Label, an imprint allowing writers to present unique takes on DC characters for a mature audience, and Azzarello and Bermejo described it as a loose sequel to their 2008 graphic novel '' Joker''. Lee Bermejo
Lee Bermejo is an American comic book writer and artist whose published work includes interior illustrations and cover art. He is best known for his collaborations with writer Brian Azzarello including '' Lex Luthor: Man of Steel'', the '' Joker'' graphic novel, and '' Before Watchmen: Rorschach''. Career Lee Bermejo's career began in 1997 as an intern at WildStorm. He is self-taught, with little formal art training. The Joker is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by Bill Finger, Bob Kane, and Jerry Robinson, the character first appeared in the debut issue of the comic book ''Batman (comic book), Batman'' on April 25, 1940. Jim Lee (; born August 11, 1964) is a Korean-born American comic book artist, writer, editor, and publisher.
