Batang County (; zh, s=巴塘县) is a County (People's Republic of China), county located in western Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, Sichuan Province, China. The main administrative centre is known as Batang, Batang County, Batang Town (officially: Xiaqiong or Qakyung). 1990 statistics give its population as 47,256, with 42,044 living in rural areas and 5,212 living in urban areas. Batang () is a rural town in Ningxiang City, Hunan Province, China. Yushu (, ), also Romanized as Yüxü, is a county-level city of Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in Southern Qinghai Province, China. It comprises a surface area of . In 2010, the overall city's population was 120,447 and 56,802 live within the city core. There are around 356,000 people in the metropolitan area in 2020. Yushu is the fourth largest city in Qinghai.
