Batang Dua Islands
The Batang Dua Islands comprise two widely separated islands in the Maluku Sea – Mayau and Tifure – which, together with the uninhabited small islet of Gureda off the coast of Tifure, constitute an administrative district of the city of Ternate, in the North Maluku Province of Indonesia. In all, the islands have a land area of 29.01 km2, and had a total of 2,716 inhabitants in mid 2023. Maluku Sea
The Molucca Sea (Indonesian: ''Laut Maluku'') is located in the western Pacific Ocean, around the vicinity of Indonesia, specifically bordered by the Indonesian Islands of Celebes (Sulawesi) to the west, Halmahera to the east, and the Sula Islands to the south. The Molucca Sea has a total surface area of . The Molucca Sea is rich in coral and has many diving sites due to the deepness of its waters. Ternate
Ternate (), also known as the City of Ternate (; ), is the List of regencies and cities of Indonesia, city with the largest population in the province of North Maluku and an island in the Maluku Islands, Indonesia. It was the ''de facto'' provincial capital of North Maluku before Sofifi on the nearby coast of Halmahera became the capital in 2010.
