Bastian Kaltenböck (born 23 July 1983 in Hallein, Austria) is a ski jumper from Austria. Kaltenböck competed in the Ski jumping World Cup between 2003 and 2009. He also has nine individual Continental Cup-wins. In the 2010 Winter Olympics Kaltenböck ended his career as a trialjumper. Hallein () is a historic town in the Austrian state of Salzburg. It is the capital of Hallein district. The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup is the world's highest level of ski jumping and the FIS Ski Flying World Cup as the subdivisional part of the competition. It was founded by Torbjørn Yggeseth for the 1979/80 season and organized by the International Ski Federation. Women began competing during the 2011/12 season.
