Bas Tietema
Bas Tietema (born 29 January 1995) is a Dutch former cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2017 to 2018 and again from 2022 to 2023. He runs thTour de TietemaYouTube channel and founded UCI ProTeam in 2023. Career Tietema originally played football in his childhood, but began cycling in 2010. After a fairly successful junior and under-23 career, Tietema retired from competition in 2019 due to skin allergies and loss of motivation. He then started a YouTube channel known as ''Tour de Tietema'', where he uploads cycling videos with friends Josse Wester and Devin van der Wiel. As of May 2022, the channel has more than 250,000 subscribers. In 2021, the group started an amateur team known as the Tour de Tietema Cycling Team, as a challenge to attempt to win local races. The Internationale Wielertrofee Jong Maar Moedig was a professional cycling race held annually in Belgium between 1985 and 2019. It was first held in 1985 under the name Grand Prix Jerry Blondel. In 1987 it was renamed Trophée Cycliste International Jerry Blondel. From 1998 it was known as the Internationale Wielertrofee Jong Maar Moedig. The Dutch National Time Trial Championship is a time trial race that takes place inside the Dutch National Cycling Championship, and decides the best cyclist in this type of race. The first edition took place in 1991. The first race winner of the time trial championship was Bart Voskamp in 1991. Team Time Trial
A team time trial (TTT) is a road bicycle race in which teams of cyclists race against the clock (see individual time trial for a more detailed description of ITT events). The winning team in a TTT is determined by the comparing the times of (usually) the fourth-finishing rider in each team (though the relevant finish position can be otherwise specified in advance by the race organisers). This means that each team will try to get their first four (at least) riders across the finish line in a tight group: it is actually a disadvantage for any rider to finish far in advance of the fourth rider, as by staying back a faster rider can help the fourth rider to get a quicker time.
