Bartosz Borowski
Bartosz Borowski (3 June 1978 – 10 April 2010) was a Polish activist and representative of the Katyn Families. He died in the 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 crash near Smolensk on 10 April 2010. He was posthumously awarded the Order of Polonia Restituta. 2010 Polish Air Force Tu-154 Crash
On 10 April 2010, a Tupolev Tu-154 aircraft operating Polish Air Force Flight 101 crashed near the Russian city of Smolensk, killing List of casualties of the Smolensk air disaster, all 96 people on board. The Order of Polonia Restituta (, ) is a Polish state decoration, state Order (decoration), order established 4 February 1921. A knight is a person granted an honorary title of a knighthood by a head of state (including the pope) or representative for service to the monarch, the church, or the country, especially in a military capacity.
