Andrea Bartolini (born November 1968) is an Italian former professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1988 to 2003. Bartolini is notable for winning the 1999 500cc motocross world championship. Motocross racing career Born in Imola, Italy, Bartolini competed for the Yamaha motocross team run by former world champion Michele Rinaldi. He finished fifth in the 500cc motocross world championships in 1997 and 1998 before winning the title in 1999. In 2003, he placed third in the 125cc motocross world championship. Bartolini was a member of two victorious Italian Motocross des Nations teams, winning the event in 1999 with teammates Alessio Chiodi and Claudio Federici then, in 2002 with teammates Chiodi and Alessandro Puzar. Activities Bartolini is the editor of the Italian political science journal, ''Italian Political Science Review''. Bartolini's research in political science includes research on electoral changes in Europe during the 1980s, which found that gains and losses at the party level did not translate into large changes at the bloc level. In terms of aggregate scores, the gains of parties within a bloc, whether left-wing or right-wing, were offset by the losses of other parties within the same bloc. Nicola Bartolini (born 7 February 1996) is an Italian artistic gymnast. He is the 2021 World Champion and 2021 European bronze medalist on floor exercise. Bartolini's early career was plagued with injury as a shoulder injury and subsequent surgery made him unable to compete at the 2016 Olympic Games. Domenico Bartolini (Rome, 26 August 1880 – 5 April 1960) was an Italian politician and civil servant, who served as Minister of Finance of the Badoglio I Cabinet, the first after the fall of the Fascist regime. Biography From 1908 to 1920 he was treasurer of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, and from 1920 to 1922 he served as general intendant of the Banco di Roma; on behalf of Minister Alberto de' Stefani, he prepared the decree for the establishment of the General Superintendency of the State, which he headed from 1923 to 1944.
