William Barry Scott (January 27, 1955 September 10, 2020) was an American actor and voice-over artist. Early life Scott was born in Nashville, Tennessee.Barry Scott - Kirkland Productions (Wayback Machine). Career Scott had an extensive career on stage, and penned several stage-plays, including ''Ain't Got Long to Stay Here'', a tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. He also appeared in several feature films, notably ''Ernest Goes to Jail'' (1990) and its sequel ''Ernest Scared Stupid'' (1991). Robert Barrington "Barry" Scott (9 October 1916 – 6 April 1984) was an Australian cricketer. He played first-class cricket for Victoria between 1935 and 1940 and for New South Wales in 1940-41. Cricket career A tall, powerfully built right-arm fast bowler and hard-hitting left-handed lower-order batsman,Jack Pollard, ''Australian Cricket: The Game and the Players'', Hodder & Stoughton, Sydney, 1982, pp. 868–69. Scott's best season was 1938-39, when he took 23 wickets at an average of 22.39, including figures of 7 for 33 and 5 for 46 when Victoria beat New South Wales in a Sheffield Shield match in Sydney. Barry Scott & Second Wind
Barry Scott and Second Wind was a bluegrass/ bluegrass gospel band based out of the East Tennessee area. They are best known for their debut album ''In God's Time'', which received a 2010 Grammy nomination for Best Southern, Country or Bluegrass Gospel Album. The band is also known for its a capella songs. The second album, ''Sunday Mornin' Meetin' Time'', consists of a combination of a capella and instrumental tracks. Scott formed the band after performing for ten years as lead singer for the band Quicksilver. The band has performed at the Lewis Family Homecoming & Bluegrass Festival and the Lincoln County Bluegrass and Gospel Sing. Barry Scott & Second Wind disbanded in December, 2010.
